Background Talent is the leader in online extras casting in New Zealand, supplying talent nationwide from Auckland to Queenstown. Our talent are currently working on Shortland Street, Diplomatic Immunity, Under the Mountain, Underworld and The Laundry Warrior as well as a variety of TV commercials!

We're seeking men and women aged between 15 and 45 years for work on a variety of television shows.

Extra and featured roles are available. No experience necessary but you must be reliable and have your own transport. We are currently casting for nurses, patients, police officers, all American high school students(Very 'High School Musical), gorgeous guys and gals(LA model types) cafe staff, westies, vampires, jugglers, martial artists, as well as your every day kiwis.

If you are successful you will need to have photos, CVs and a website portfolio made which is covered by a annual fee of $150 (if you can find what we offer you anywhere else for less we will give it to you for free!). However if you have genuine financial difficulty we will consider deducting this fee from the first job that you do with us once you are successful in your application.
